Stephen Emmott is Head of Research at J. Boye. In addition to leading J. Boye’s research activities, he moderates groups based in the UK and Europe and contributes to J. Boye’s conferences and consultancy.
Prior to joining J. Boye, Stephen was Head of Digital Communications at the London School of Economics. His experience is grounded in work for web agencies (Netmare and Webmedia), universities (London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), King’s College London and University of Westminster) and digital consultancy (J. Boye). Stephen holds a BSc in Applied Psychology, MSc in Cognitive Science and Intelligent Computing, and a Diploma in Management.
With 19 years working as a digital professional, from producing through to leading, Stephen has extensive experience across management, editorial, and technology. He combines in-depth knowledge of web technology with sound people skills, and specialises in web management and governance within medium to large organisations.
