Janet is an experienced communications consultant, specialising in the areas of technology, healthcare and science. Her projects have helped organisations engage employees, build reputations and create the environment for success.
Having started out as a journalist, Janet crossed over to communications, spending time both in agency and in-house. She has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands, including GSK, Novartis, Roche, Monsanto and Allied Bakeries.
She is fascinated by the potential of digital technology to change behaviours, and the opportunities this offers to communicators to improve engagement and connect with new audiences. She led the content strategy at GSK in the relatively early days of social media, pushing the adoption of a multi-channel story telling approach. At the time, the pharmaceutical company was recognised as a social media pioneer within the industry.
Janet is a member of the CIPR Inside committee and an experienced conference speaker.
