Using your digital project as a digital masterclass for management

The biggest challenge affecting those working with digital is not technology nor processes, but management and governance: the people and decisions required to transition to new ways. Developing effective ways to engage management and other stakeholders is often crucial, but is it a significant part of your work programme and what is your approach?

At Forbrugerrådet Tænk (Danish Consumer Council), Anne-Katrine and her team achieved success in 2016 by applying the lessons learnt from their last major web project in 2011. She will explain how existing management forums were used to deliver short case-study based masterclasses in digital, during which management decisions were made.

During this session, you’ll learn about this tactic and discuss the relevance of this and similar approaches to engaging management. The session is particularly interesting for web managers, project managers or anyone in web/IT who seeks to help raise the level of digital maturity within their organisation and smooth the path for digital business development.
