Fitting Agile in non-Agile organisations: best practices from a federal-state-bank

A frequently-voiced concern for those pursuing an Agile approach to digital is how to fit this into the wider organisation. Or with separate organisations they work closely with. Being a relatively new methodology, fitting Agile with non-Agile is fundamental, so how have others achieved success?
Understanding Kurt Lewin’s Force-Field Theory of Change in one of the keys to tackle strong resistant forces inside the organisation. And today we have new and powerful tools to better facilitate organisational change. Using a recent project for a German federal bank, Matthias will explore the challenges to integrating an Agile approach based on different methodologies, such as David Kelley’s Design Thinking-Model, the use of Scrum and Kanban, and other models to build up the structure and power of a successful team. By establishing a network based on dialogue, he will demonstrate how to work with hierarchy and silos to achieve manageable change.
As well as the case study, Matthias talk will call upon the experiences are those attending to deliver ideas and tactics for use back at the office.
