Digital Transformation

Customer Experience trackWednesday, 2 November

Digital transformation is business transformation.

The promises of what a successful Digital Transformation programme will bring about are many – almost regardless of which predictions or industry report you read:

  • Getting to market faster and more effectively
  • Innovative new business models, products, and services
  • Optimized business operations
  • Exceptional end-to-end customer experiences – to name but a few.

However, large companies struggle with Digital Transformation and many fail to make real progress with – let alone complete Digital Transformation programmes.

The cited reasons are many: lack of real leadership, lack of skills, people, culture, legacy systems…

Perhaps it is because it is a rather amorphous concept that can be tough to define and therefore hard to plan and deliver.

At J. Boye we observe that focus is still predominantly on technology rather than on operations and business outcomes.

This track will look at organisations that have defined what Digital Transformation means to them, what success looks like and how they are tackling the necessary operational changes.
